How it works
Set your logo and details once here. Every document this site generates from then on carries them: RAMS, toolbox talk registers, COSHH assessments, invoices, quotes, CIS statements, permits. You do not set it up per tool and you do not set it up again next week.
Where it is stored
In your browser, on this device, in something called local storage. It is not sent anywhere, there is no account and there is no copy of it on a server, because there is no server. Your logo never leaves the machine you are sitting at, and neither does your address, your VAT number or anything else you put in.
The honest trade-off: because it lives on this device, it does not follow you to another computer or into a private window, and clearing your browser data clears it too. Setting it up again takes about a minute. That seemed a better deal than asking you to make an account.
What each setting changes
- Logo and position. Left with your details on the right is the usual letterhead. Right puts the logo opposite your details. Your image is resized on your device before it is stored, so a photo of a business card works, it just will not look as good as a proper PNG.
- Company name, address, contact, registration. These sit under the rule at the top of every page, not just the first. A principal contractor reading page four of a RAMS still knows whose it is.
- Accent colour. Colours the rule under the header and the table headings. Leave it black and documents print exactly as they were designed to, which is usually the right answer for anything going into a safety file. If you pick something pale, table headings stay grey rather than becoming unreadable.
- Footer note. Your own reference or terms line, sitting above the site line at the bottom of every page.
There is no watermark, and there is one line
Nothing generated here is stamped, sample-marked, page-limited or degraded. The only thing every document carries is one grey sentence at the bottom saying it was generated free at this site, with no account and nothing uploaded.
That line is the entire business model. It is why none of this needs your email address, and it is the only thing asked for anywhere on the site. It stays.
If you are printing it
Every document is black on white with a proper margin, whether or not you use the site in dark mode, because it is going to a laser printer and into a folder. Signature blocks leave a ruled line whether or not a signature has been drawn, so a document can always be signed by hand on site.
